Town of GenevaCity of ElkhornCity of Lake Geneva The southeastern quarter took its name from the lake, Geneva, in 1835. The towns of Bloomfield, Hudson (later Lyons), and Linn were set off in 1844. Sections 35-36 was originally named Duck Lake but is now known as Como. Elkhorn took away Section 6. The county poor farm is in section 4.
